On 21st April 2009, the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe (CCBE) sent a draft on PenalNet to the Working Party on Legal Data Processing (e-Justice) of the Council of the European Union.
In this document, CCBE informed the Council about the Penalnet project, its effects of the scheme on the workings of the court as well as the possible future additions which might improve the results of the scheme.
