
The Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe (CCBE) sent a draft on PenalNet to the Working Party on Legal Data Processing (e-Justice) of the Council of the European Union.

PenalNet, the European online network for secure communications among criminal lawyers, extends until February 15th

PenalNet´s case study has been awarded this weeks’s Editor Choice by www.epractice.eu portal, created by the European Commission.

The heads of the Legal Professions in the five countries participating in PenalNet, the secure communication network, met in Madrid to set the advantages which the participating lawyers will benefit from

PenalNet will select 300 professionals per country to participate in this pilot project, granted by the European Commission. Criminal lawyers may now apply for registration in PenalNet, the first secure online communication network.

Representatives from the five countries that make up the PenalNet secure communications network have arranged a meeting in Rome following the kick-off meeting held in Madrid.
